Get a Good Case Study
The first customer, a strategic partnership or enterprise sale, is critical for a new business. Often, this is the entrepreneur’s paralyzing bottleneck. Can we give the first big one away, to sweeten the deal? Get a good case study, not a sale. A good case study is incredibly valuable, because it gives you what you don't yet have - credibility.
Broaden Your Job Definition
A job definition is a demarcation of responsibility, a limit. If we stick to our limits we won’t succeed. Broaden your job definition. Be elastic. What else are you good at? Go beyond the boundaries of your job description, and you will triumph.
Get Your Interdependencies Right
The predecessor of the future is the present. So get your interdependencies right, and you will deliver. Right now, do this job at hand to the best of your abilities. What comes next will be as good as what you put into it.
